Such a fun experience! I was on a girls trip in Chesapeake for a few days and we were recommended to check out Bays Crawler Crab Shack. What an experience! Our server handled a huge group so well and we all got exactly what we ordered. Im a crawfish girl (native New Orleanean) but Bays may have converted me to a full on crab fan. So delicious! Definitely recommend you check them out when youre in the area.

First time visitors and our group was very pleased! The crabs, the corn and service were exactly as expected for a crab shack. My only suggestion would be: better signage to help find the place. I was on my bike without GPS and I drove past it twice.

Wow! Visiting from Alaska, my family brought me to Bay Crawlers Crab Shack for the first time and the service and food were amazing. Due to my diet, my food had to be customized and Delaney was a saint to assist. She was considerate, and exceptionally attentive to our needs. What a wonderful experience for my family and I.

This is my family's second visit. We look forward to crab season, and this place is a nice place to go. Deliciously prepared and seasoned crabs and corn, and hush puppies. Good sides and beverage options. Great value for all you can eat crabs. Very good and friendly service. And now they have an air-conditioned tent.

It's a unique place. Seating is outside, the floor is sand. The best place to eat steamed blue crabs, fish and chips and fried oyster platter.

I liked it better when they had completely outside seating. The tent is nice for rainy days, but it covers 90% of the seating. They had the sides up as well so a beautiful day outside the tent turned into a dreary lunch date.

We always like stopping at shacks when we are out of town. Overall experience was good. Would have gave five stars but the crabs were light. When we order crabs that are not AYCE they should be heavy. We would give it one more shot if we visit this lovely town again.

Weve been patronizing this place since it was Captn Chris.
Love the atmosphere for sitting down to an all you can eat family meal, and love the value for pick-up and carry out when we dont have the time or desire to pick crabs for hours.
I recommend the Crab Chesapeake melt or the Chicken Chesapeake.

You cant leave without trying the hush puppies and sauce that comes with them.

The service was less than awesome though, our waitress took quite a while to do...anything. Had a fun Mothers Day meal of crabcakes and shrimp. The shack is definitely known for its crabs but we love crabcakes and they didn't disappoint. Our server was cheerful and checked in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. We stuck to the iced tea but they have full bar and the buckets of beer seemed very popular.

Super chill spot! Picnic tables on sand perfect atmosphere. We went for AYCE crabs but they werent serving AYCE at the moment. I got a friend oyster po boy- with fries friend oysters were delish I took them out of the roll and dipped them. Fries are fresh cut and seasoned to perfection. We got the 50 shrimp/50clams, shrimp a tad over cooked but full of old bay and the clams were good. Will definitely come again for AYCE crabs- would be great if they had a live island band.

We stopped here during our camping at Elk Neck. Had fish n chips and crab cake sandwich with some beer and lemonade. Excellent service by a bunch of young kids.

Crab cakes are the bomb. AYCE crabs are the best around.

Crabs were heavy, and the beer was cold. Hush puppies and corn on the cob included. . The waitress kept them coming and we did not have to wait for refills. Only complaint is the restroom needs an overhaul. It was dirty and flooded. They have separate hand washing sinks outside.

Mounds of fried, broiled, and steamed seafood. The draw is the all-you-can-eat-in-two-hours crabs, but since my friends don't love that experience, we went for different choices. Great spicy steamed shrimp and good crab cakes. We tried the latter fried and would probably go broiled next time. That said it was filled with chunks of blue crab meat. A wonderful crab stuffed pretzel. Great hush puppies and sides though more French Fries than we could eat.

The clams were meticulously cleaned. No grit. Shrimp was cooked to perfection. No rubbery pieces. The hush puppies reminded me of my childhood. The only thing I didn’t like was the crab dip. Very salty and a bit bland. This is now our new favorite place to eat!

I was a bit apprehensive with yet another change of ownership, along with a substantial price increase.- But, knowing that it's still the cheapest place to get AYCE crabs, I shouldn't complain. The new overhead circus style tents are a major improvement over the individual umbrellas. No more hunting for elusive shade or hot sand to deal with. I miss the $1.00 canned soft drinks- not a fan of the much higher priced fountain drinks. But the crabs are good, the service is good and fast. So it is what it is.

As a starter we had the boardwalk fries and then the all you can eat crabs everything came out in a timely manner. The boardwalk fries is a must try if you visit here. Quintessential Crab shack, very fresh and delicious seafood, very fair price, great service, worth it

First time here won't be my last... Prices are great I like the fact that you can purchase whatever crabs you have left for a $1 and also pay your childs age for Ayce.. wait staff was so nice ..Crabs we hot heavy and delicious...Definitely will be back

It's all you can eat crabs.... When we went it was $25 for them. It sucks that the sodas are $3 a piece and they ARE NOT free refills. The crabs are small, but good. Best price for crabs around Cecil County.

OMG awesome crabs and service, would definitely come back for AYCE crabs.

To say this is a relaxed place is an understatement. Seating is under a tent with a sand floor and brown paper tablecloths. It is all about the all-you-can-eat crabs! The French fries are good too. It can get busy, and when we were there it was really hot. But it is a fun place to eat a messy meal. Try the crab pretzel and the crab cakes.

Great place,crabs were pretty full,our server was awesome as well. The parking is tough,but it always has been.

This was our first time here after it changed ownership. We were very happy with the service and the food. The beer was very cold, too! We will be returning again before the season is over.

The waitstaff was great! The AYCE crabs were a little light but good. The hush puppies were really good!

We love this place for All you can eat crabs. They have good food great prices, although their staff seems to change every season. Sometimes you can't get a seat without a ling wait, good news is you can get them to go. Home to your kitchen table or picnic table, the CRABS are just as good at any tables. They usually let you buy what's left on the table for $1.00 each, that is better than throwing them away like some places. Love Captain Chris's Crab Shack!!!!

Glad to see the service and food has improved under the new name. Very popular with takeouts. We ordered she crabs which are naturally smaller were sweet and delicious. Fried squid was great. Fried oysters the batter was a bit too thick for my liking, I'd prefer a lighter batter. All in all a great experience and we will be back.

I got a dozen female crabs to go. It was a great deal at $22. It was still warm when we got it home. It is well seasoned but very salty with bay seasoning so we washed it all off. It was still well seasoned and very good. I'll definitely go back there!
